Enumeration coefficient
The so-called enumeration coefficient or enumeration tag editor can only be used in certain channels. You can customize a text label for a specific signal value by enumerating the coefficients. When the signal value passes a specific value, this text label can be displayed in the digital display table or in the label of the waveform recorder (if the waveform recorder enables the display label, see Instrument Properties). The following channels support enumeration coefficients: • CAN channel: If the DBC file already contains an enumeration, it can be parsed. You can edit the enumeration in the Enumeration Coefficient Editor.
• Flexray and ARXML channels: do not support parsing enumeration data
• Ethernet receiving channel
• IMU (ADMA&OxTS): enumeration data is not stored in the channel definition
In the enumeration coefficient editor, you can add a new label with the+button, and delete a label with the - button. The copy button allows you to paste a form into another program, and the paste button allows you to copy a form from another source.
