The data acquisition system or power analyzer of Dewei Chuang supports SCPI/XCP Ethernet communication commands, which are controlled remotely through OXYGEN software.

SCPI Ethernet communication

OXYGEN can be controlled remotely through SCPI. To do this, the "Enable Remote Control" button must be turned on and SCPI over Ethernet must be enabled.  


XCP Ethernet communication

Note: This plug-in option requires an activation code

OXYGEN can be controlled through XCP via Ethernet. To do this, you must open the "Enable Remote Control" button and enable the XCP Ethernet connection

The following XCP settings can be edited in OXYGEN:

• Communication type: TCP service or UDP service

OXYGEN IP address of the device

• Terminal slogan

• Output format: Double (64bit) or Float (32bit)

• A2L file path: the storage path of a2l files. When XCP remote control is started and Oxygen is started, an a2l file will be automatically added to this path  

• XML file path: the storage path of the XML file. An XML file will be automatically added to this path when XCP remote control is started and Oxygen is started


Use both SCPI and XCP

Both XCP and SCPI are allowed. Just activate these two plug-ins and set them according to the SCPI over Ethernet and XCP over Ethernet guidelines.
