Test bench What are the types?

In addition to classifying the test platforms according to the industry and DUT itself, it also makes a general distinction between research&development and EoL (end - line) test platforms.

R&D test platform

In fact, the R&D test platform supports variable testing of different components and prototypes. They mainly support engineers to test and verify their ideas and designs.

For example, the rotating bending test bench used in material development for material testing and inspection.

EOL test bench

This includes a test bench that checks the functionality of the newly built test project at the end of the production process. They are used for quality assurance. The reason for this name is that the test bench is usually located directly at the end of the assembly or production line.

Example: A function test bench used to check all relevant functions of the product before sales (for example, noise cancellation of headphones).
