4.4.1 Use EPAD2 in DEWE and DEWE2 system OXYGEN software

DEWE Series and DEWE2 series chassis have a four pin remor 485 interface for connecting EP AD( reference resources chart four point one nine ).

• Select the COM interface for the EPAD2 module (Reference chart four point two one ).

• Click the search button ( As shown in the figure four point two two ). The system will search for the EPAD2 module under the selected serial port . You can see it in the lower right corner of the software Connection status

• If the EPAD2 module is found, the lower right corner of the software will prompt to find the module ( As shown in the figure four point two three ) You can see that the system has found EPAD module

• If you have more than one EPAD2 Modules are linked together, and the user can select the program module group address... button ( As shown in the figure . 4.24 ).

• Next, select EPAD2 Start address of ( Cannot be 0) , and select “ Start programming ”( As shown in the figure four point two five ).

• Once the module group identification starts, the software will ask you to press the black button on the EPAD ID Button ( As shown in the figure . 4.26 ) Of the first module Button and then it will add one Address of. At this point, you will press the second EPAD2 Black of ID Button to reason by analogy.  

• When the module search is completed, select the Stop Editing button ( As shown in the figure four point two five ).

4.4.2 EPAD And EPAD2-USB usage

EPAD2 The module can also be used as an independent measurement solution (CVT-Logger) , no need DEWE or DEWE2 Hardware. Available through EPAD2-USB Module connected to measurement PC On. This is also going to EPAD2 Module vs. No EPAD Connector TRIONet Combined Solution. Please ensure that the measurement computer is installed EPAD2-USB Module drive. The installation files are included with EPAD2-USB Installation USB flash disk delivered by module files drivers3 _ communication dewetron _ usb Folder. After the installation of the drive, you can OXYGEN Middle pair EPAD2 The module is programmed in the same way as the conventional setting. In this case, you can find the correct COM Port. correct COM The mouth shows TUSB34 ten equipment ( As shown in the figure . 4.27 ).

4.4.3 Problem solving

If no EPAD module is found, please check as follows : 

• Make sure your EPAD2 And OXYGEN compatible ( stay OXYGEN 3.2 In and later versions, except EPAD2- usb All except epad modular ) 。  

• Check whether the EPAD2 module is correctly connected to the system

• confirm EPAD2 When accessing the system, ID Below the button LED The light is on.

• Select other COM ports and search again for EPAD module

• If multiple EPAD2 modules are connected at the same time, check whether the module terminals are connected

4.4.4 EPAD Channel list

• EPAD2 After editing the module, close the "System Settings" menu and open the "Data Channel" menu in full screen

• EPAD2 The module is visible above the channel list (①) There are independent EPAD channel options in the channel list (②) ( as chart four point two eight ) 

• EPAD channel can be selected through channel filter

• By clicking epad The up and down arrows next to the module image can be used to quickly connect multiple epad Switching between modules

be careful : If no thermocouple is connected to the channel , The display value is 1372.0 °C (2501.6 °F)
