stay DEWETRON We provide various multi-channel signal conditioning modules. We provide separate A/D conversion on each channel and provide up to 24 bit anti aliasing filter resolution. In addition, all our modules are user exchangeable and can be easily disassembled or inserted into your appropriate DEWETRON DAQ Data acquisition system Medium.
In general, you can choose between a wide range of different modules for a specific application. Therefore, we divide the module into the following application groups:
Analog module
Digital module
Power module
Analog output module
Sub module
Analog module
Analog modules such as TRION (3) - 1820-MULTI can be used to measure various analog signals. D-SUB, LEMO and BNC connector types are available. These cards are therefore called MULTI because they support a wide range of sensor types: voltage, IEPE, bridge (full, half and quarter), resistance, current and charge, thermocouple and LVDT. Combined with modular intelligent interface (msi), this list becomes longer.
Modular Intelligent Interface (MSI)
MSI adapter is used to extend the measurement capability of analog D-SUB-9 connector. These adapters are used for charge measurement, IEPE sensors, thermocouples, RTD sensors, LVDT sensors, full bridge, half bridge and quarter bridge, 4-20 mA sensors and higher voltage ranges up to 600 VRMS. Their inputs do not support this sensor type. The MSI does this by converting the sensor signal to a readable voltage level (typically ± 10 V). The MSI on-board TEDS chip allows a simple plug and play solution because the conversion of units, gain and offset is automatic. Therefore, when the load is inserted, MSI will automatically display the correct measured load in the software channel.
Digital module
Digital modules such as TRION-DI-48 are used to monitor 48 independent 1-bit values. These inputs can be high voltage (5v) or low voltage (0v) without intermediate value. Sensors such as limit switches, warnings, or alarms are typically monitored by these modules.
Power module
Power module , such as TRION3-1810M-POWER, which can realize synchronous high-frequency power measurement and efficiency calculation. A single ADC for each channel can realize high-precision non multi-channel synchronous power measurement (10 MS/s for each channel), with high sampling rate 。 Each module has 4 phases, which can perform inverter efficiency monitoring (1-phase DC, 3-phase AC). Two power modules support 6-phase AC measurement, one DEWETRON power analyzer Up to 16 phases can be measured.
Analog output module
Analog output module, such as TRION3-AOUT-8, allows constant output within ± 10v or ± 30ma, function generator (sine, triangle, square and user-defined waveform), mathematical calculation output and stream output of other channels (clone output).
Sub module
The sub module is used for the power module and extends the current measurement channel to achieve different ranges (0.2 A, 1a, 2a, 20a). They can be exchanged by the customer into isolated voltage modules to support Current clamp 。 Similar to msi, the sub module contains a TEDS chip. The measurement range and offset of the sub module are automatically detected.
TRION vs TRION3
If you have seen our module series, you may have noticed that we provide two module series:
TRION3 series
In 2019, DEWETRON launched a new data acquisition system series, the DEWE3 express series and the supporting TRION3 module. High speed TRION3 module has PXIE bus system, so it allows higher Data throughput (up to 1gb/s). However, they are only compatible with the DEWE3 chassis and not backward compatible. Since the DEWE2 chassis uses a common PXI bus system, they are incompatible with the TRION3 module.
TRION series
The TRION series is our predecessor series and the standard PXI interface. Compared with the PXIe interface of TRION3 module, its data throughput is lower, 100 MB/s. However, the TRION module is compatible with DEWE3 and DEWE2 systems, allowing more flexible installation options.
