Function update of DEWETRON data acquisition software OXYGEN 6.7 (I)

along with DEWETRON The data acquisition software of OXYGEN is updated to OXYGEN 6.7. This intuitive measurement software introduces several new functions and improvements. The new enhancements focus on power analysis, timing analysis and the new energy manager of the DEWE3 system. In addition, new SCPI commands and many other useful improvements are provided.

 

In the following article, we will introduce you to several new features and provide an overview.

 

New power characteristics

In OXYGEN 6.7, we introduced a new analysis tool for the power group under the "efficiency" label. These tools help to analyze mechanical power, DC power and electrical efficiency. Figure 1 shows and highlights the new tools, including:

 

"DC power analysis" setting ①

"Mechanical power analysis" setting ②

"And the possibility of generating three different efficiency charts" ③.

Each tool creates a corresponding synchronous output channel. When DC power and mechanical power are determined, the system efficiency is automatically calculated and displayed through the efficiency diagram. However, remember that to access these new features, you need the OXY-OPT-POWER-ADV option.

Interface Template

With the new OXYGEN update, you can now create templates for the measurement interface and report pages. You can store the entire interface as is, including all the selected instruments, their respective settings and their arrangement. After saving the template, you can copy it to another system and add it through the measurement interface menu. Templates are stored in the following default directory: C: UsersPublicDocumentsDewetronOxygenTemplates
