Function update of DEWETRON data acquisition software OXYGEN 6.7 (III)

along with DEWETRON The data acquisition software of OXYGEN is updated to OXYGEN 6.7. This intuitive measurement software introduces several new functions and improvements. The new enhancements focus on power analysis, timing analysis and the new energy manager of the DEWE3 system. In addition, new SCPI commands and many other useful improvements are provided.

New SCPI command

OXYGEN 6.7 allows you to use several new SCPI commands to store measurement screens and report pages.

 

Store the measurement screen as *. png through the SCPI command

:SCReen:SAVE                                  // Stores the current screen with default name to export folder.

:SCReen:SAVE “XYZ”                      // Stores the current screen with defined name (xyz) to export folder.

:SCReen:SAVE “C:TEMPxyz”    // Stores the current screen to C:TEMPxyz.

:SCReen:ITEM<1>:SAVE               // Possibility to store a dedicated screen.

However, remember that it is not possible to store a single instrument, but only the entire screen.

 

Store the report page as *. pdf through the SCPI command

Energy manager DEWE3-M8s

This update provides a plug-in for DEWE3-M8s to monitor battery status and system information, such as fan speed, battery capacity, battery discharge time and battery warning configuration. All information will be listed in the channel list. When using the DEWE3-M8s chassis, this plug-in is automatically available in OXYGEN.

 

 

 

Chassis Controller as PTP Master

Now you can use the Chassis Controller as the PTP host. Therefore, PTP connector will be used to output PTP timestamp according to IEEE1588v2 configuration through OXYGEN SNYC menu. However, this requires TRION Applications R6.6.1 and firmware updates. In addition, please note that this is an optional function, which requires a special software license (OXY-OPT-PTP-OUT) and the hardware option DEWE3-OPT-IRIG/PTP.
